Shipping / Production Update - 3rd September
Hey folks!
In last week's update, we announced our target to produce ~5k units per week with a total of 30k units shipping in September. Due to past production delays we know some of you were a little bit sceptical of this figure, however we’re happy to announce that we surpassed our goal of 5,000 units on Wednesday (after 5 days) - and for the entire week we have completed in excess of 7500 units, meaning we are well on our way to the 30k target for the month.
We have shipped these units out from the factory to our UK warehouse, Floship (our warehouse for shipping to non-UK locations) and shortly out to our distributors including Sparkfun, Distrelec, Parley Labs and a range of other smaller outlets. You should be hearing from them in due course with regards to onward shipments of these units.
We posted a bunch of pictures on our Twitter feed but for those of you that do not frequent social media platforms we have posted some below as well:

Software updates
This week the Helium team pushed a major mandatory hotspot software update that adds a bunch of stability and performance tweaks. You can read all about it on the Helium Engineering Blog.
We pushed this update along with some other improvements in our latest 2021.08.31.2 update which has been pushed down to the entire fleet. If your hotspot is powered on and connected to the internet it should have already pulled down the update automatically.
